March has been quite the busy month with our county-wide school art show at OCAF and Fine Arts Night
you know... SCREAM!
With March in our rearview mirror and Spring Break just over the horizon, I can share some of the projects that we've been working on.
We once again had our Artome art show which is our spring art fundraiser. We had great excitement over the show as families came in to see the art works. It was also a great fundraiser and raised lots of money for the art program.Thank you for all your support and PTO for supplying the refreshments.
We learned that yarn bombing is a form of street
art or graffiti seen in many urban areas since 2005.
There is more to share on work from our K-3rd Georgia Folk Artists unit and pottery from 2nd and 5th,
but I'll save that for the next post.
